200€

I keep it short today because Im really messed up. Set my goal on 200€ and it took a long time to get there. Was running so bad it was an effort just to start a new sit and go. But I keept it real and finally I got it turned around. I'll get back with stats and maybe some hands I have logged on my computer tommorrow just too tired now. Time for bed.

But once again, thank you Unibet for your soft players. Edge is so much better than Stars and FT. And if you wanna join me sign up with a 100€ sign up bonus here

Finally my tip for the day: Never give up, Never :)

Im hot!

Oh yeah! I have passed the 100€ mark leaving the dust behind me! Today I really have been running hot. After a trip to the beach early at the day I played one very long session. I felt really fired up and today I started multitabling. This is not usally something I do alot of when I'm playing heads up tables, but was fired up for it and I was running good so I played it out. This made it quite hectic so my stats for today are missing. I also combined playing two heads up tables and two short handed tables, so my profit winning would be bigger compared to the rake. If you are a marginal surplus player, beating the rake is quite important and larger fields makes the rake easier to beat. On the other hand if you feel the quality of your poker game lays in heads up and short handed play, it would probably make a bigger surplus anyway.

I ended up the day pretty tired, but very happy with a bankroll of 154€. This is 15 times the amount I deposited. I can only thank Unibet for the soft action on their site :) They have a 100€ sign up bonus if you click here or the banner on the right.

Another day with poker

Searched a bit on google and youtube today after some nice fun sites to have in the background while playing poker, but didnt really find any. But that is actually good, because then i am only focused on the poker while playing. Especially playing heads up it is important to learn the players patterns. Contiuned playing 5,50€ sit and go's and here are the stats for today:

Wins: 21, Profit 94,50€
Loss: 12, Loss 66€
Net profit for the session: 28,50€
Bankroll balance: 73€

Keep in it real with soft action at Unibet :)

Started grinding it out small stakes

Started playing with 10€ at Unibet yesterday. The project begins. I thought I would have best edge playing heads up sit and go tournaments to reduse the varians. So I started playing 2,20€ HU SNG. This is pretty wrong bankroll wise but playing so low stakes I would be better of taking some risk in the start of my project. I ended up playing 29 SNGs for 2,20€, winning one would pay 4€ and be a profit of 1,80€. Losing one would obvious be a 2,20€ loss.

Stats:
Won: 20, gives a profit of 36€
Lost: 9, gives a loss of 19,8€
Total profit for session: 16,2€
So my bankroll ended up at 26,2€

After a short break I realized a bonus of 10€ had been credited my account and was now at 36,2€ Had played earlier on this site and didnt now I had a small bonus pending. This was one of the reasons I did what you shouldn't do. I pushed the stakes up a tiny bit. Well I double them. This is not the smartest thing to do bankroll management wise. The normal formula for BR management is 40xBI as a minimum. After moving up stake wise and meeting harder competition it is wise to make this even deeper. Many people operated with 100xBI. For those of you that dont know what BI means, it means Buy Ins. So for playing 2,20€ SNG a ok bankroll should be at least 88€. If you want to read more about bankroll management I recommend reading some of the posted articles on twoplustwo. But at such low stakes I wouldnt listen to reason and bought a ticket for "glory". So I started playing 5,50€ HU SNG. Played 9 of these before I called it a night. A win here would give a profit of 4,50€, and if I lose it would of course mean a loss of 5,50€.

Stats:
Won: 6, gives a profit of 27€
Lost: 3, gives a loss of 16,50€
Total profit for session: 10,50€

So the day ended with a profit of 26,7€ plus the bonus of 10€. So my bankroll is now 46,7€. This still is a very small bankroll for playing 5,50€ but might continue playing that tommorrow.

In the background playing HU, I also played some multitable tourneys at Unibet but wasnt any lucky in them. But Unibet has a great number of good valued tournaments. Which can be good to try your luck in :)

And I also had time to go too the movies last night, which was great! Just have to recommend the movie Hangover. Great movie from a bachelorparty in Vegas that gets a bit out of hand :) Here is a trailer.

Got drunk, hungover...

As I was telling yesterday I was thinking about starting a project with a bankroll from scratch and building it up till a net sum I could blow off. Was actually almost sitting down with the laptop to start it off yesterday when a friend dropped by with some beer and rum. Couldnt say no, so we ended up on the piss. Not that special a night, just hooked up with some old friends and got hammered. But playing poker hungover could go both ways so thinking about starting today and very soon. What I'm doing now is kinda like table selection only with sites. Finding out were the good action is. I'm thinking about stearing away from the big sites like fulltilt and pokerstars and finding some betting based company with poker. This usally means soft action :) Currently looking at Bet24 and Unibet as good candidates. Bet24 is on the Ongame network and Unibet is on the Microgaming network both known too be soft on low stake limits. Which is good :) or time will show. Get back to you later today.

Special project

Thinking about starting a grinding project like some of the pro's are doing now and then. Daniel Negreanu is said to be trying to make 10k$ from 10$ and Chris Ferguson is also been know for doing almost the same.

I will maybe start with a similar project at one of the sites Im playing. Dont know exactly how Im gonna do it but that will be some kind of bonus to blow off in Vegas next year in some way.

Some memories from last years Vegas

Was in Vegas for 4 weeks and had alot of fun. Was staying of the strip, which was ok even thou it was some special characters at our motel. Wasnt annoying but next time I'm definitly staying on the strip.

I really liked many of the casinos at the strip, but one of them was really up my alley :) Planet Hollywood. It has a great pokerroom with soft action around the clock. The comfort of the pokerroom is really good with nice space between the tables and great comfortable chairs. The chairs here are like 700$ apiece and you can really feel that it is well worth it when you sit down at the tables. Makes the long hour sessions so much easier. The stakes here are low and usally there are 1-2$ NLH tables running but also offers 2-5$ NLH tables in peak hours. Compared to the action online you get alot more action on a 200NL table live than online. So the profit can be much better live if you stay of the heavy drinking. But that is the hardest part of being in Vegas. Temptation temptation temptation... so much for the tight is right and patience pays. After heavy drinking for some hours the skills of poker vanish and the gambler in everyone smiles and gets the money in the middle :) So after 20 hours of playing poker and getting drunk you at least get compt for the buffet so you can get some food in you before you find a bed to crash in.

Foundation room is also one of the places I miss the most. It is a special club at the top of Mandalay Bay. The view from the balcony is sick nice. It is unreal because Mandalay Bay lays at one end of the strip and from the balcony you can see all the way too the other end. And that is some skyline! The night makes the neon Vegas lights look even cooler, and the booze makes it even better :)

Gonna miss it this year. And therefor I will guarantee Im leaving for Vegas next year. And hopefully play alot of WSOP events.

Missing out on Vegas this summer

Finding out that I will be missing Vegas this year, makes my vision of being there again next year crystal clear. A summer without poker in Vegas is not a good one.

Therefor I'm planning to set a side some money each month from my bankroll for a year for my trip next summer. Because then I'm definitly going to Vegas to get my groove on!
